In 1981, Myna Taylor returned to Canada from a trip to England. She brought with her a supply of Wedgewood china and the plans to open Dishington’s Tea Room. Having been recently (in her own words) “divinely” healed from a critical and life threatening illness, Dishington’s (her mother’s maiden name) would open to provide a place for people to enjoy life and celebrate good friends, good family and good food!

For nearly 30 years, Dishington’s has been a landmark in Lambeth and London. Many of our customers come regularly and new patrons arrive daily to try what they have been hearing about. Serving delicious lunches and desserts continues to be the focus of Dishington’s Tea Room.

In February of 2008 we purchased the Tea Room. It is our constant goal to maintain the incredibly wonderful reputation that Dishington’s boasts. We take pride in the fresh and homemade style choices that are prepared daily and trust that your experience will be enjoyable.
